Kharen Hill is a New Zealand born director and photographer widely recognized for her entertainment and music advertising photography. With awards from Photo District News and Applied Arts magazine, her work is renowned for the use of color and her ability to find the graphic, eye-catching elements in any situation. Her recent advertising series documenting spinal cord injury in teens was awarded nationally in the United States.

Born in New Zealand, a Canadian citizen and a resident of California, Kharen travels on assignment and shoots in studio or on location worldwide. Through years of experience with movie sets, celebrities, and musicians, Hill has perfected the ability to be spontaneously creative while maximizing shots under challenging safety constraints, travel, deadlines and creative briefs. While directing for motion and stills, Hill connects to her subjects with an unrivaled expertise, allowing actors to feel comfortable and inspired.
